Perry School Community Services Center partners with its tenants to provide  comprehensive programs and  services to meet the needs of low-income  families, adults, youth, and children in the District.  

During the past year, Perry School's tenants provided programs and services to more  than 4,500 people from all across the  District. 

Tenant Partners:

College Bound

College Bound, Inc., offers public and public charter school students in grades 8-12 academic enrichment and resources to prepare for and succeed in college. Founded in 1991, the organization offers tutoring, mentoring, ACT/SAT preparation, and academic and career guidance free-of-charge to assist students in the District of Columbia metropolitan area in meeting their post-secondary educational goals.

Perry Family Health Center of Providence Hospital

A service of Providence Hospital for the health of the community, PFHC offers quality primary care for all members of the family, including infants, adolescents, adults, pregnant women, and seniors. The Center offers prenatal, ob-gyn, pediatric, adolescent care, geriatric, nutrition, podiatry, behavioral health services and ear/nose/throat specialty services. PFHC also offers Medicaid application processing and a pharmacy assistance application.

Little Friends for Peace

​Little Friends for Peace (LFFP) trains adults and youth to teach the skills of nonviolence and democracy to children. Through interactive workshops and games, LFFP teaches that acts of violence, from playground put-downs to family fights to street crime to international conflicts, build on each other from the ground up, like a house constructed off-balance – over time and mostly unknowingly.​

Kids Care Unlimited

Works with families and individuals who want to return to Sursum Corda after a new complex is constructed.

Foundation for the Preservation of Affordable Housing 

 

Promotes the preservation of affordable housing in the District by addressing gentrification, skyrocketing housing prices, and negotiating the guaranteed right to return for all residents so they will not be displaced.
