The Business Advisory Council

Business Advisory Council Members are dedicated individuals and representatives of businesses who have agreed to support our mission,

to connect and empower the organization by contributing their skills and talents.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a BAC Member, you will be able to give back by offering thoughtful leadership, direction and support to a proven organization as well as participate in networking opportunities focused on leading community development and economic empowerment issues. Your participation on our Business Advisory Council will add value to our existing membership and increase efforts to provide connections, resources, and services to the underserved of Metropolitan Washington D.C.

Members determine the amount of time they will devote to supporting the BAC.  However we ask that you devote at least 1-2 hours per month. Your responsibilities will include assisting on an as-needed basis and providing information related to your expertise in order to strengthen the quality of our work.

Business Advisory Council members will receive regular e-newsletters and reports, so that they can stay abreast of the Perry Center’s activities and impact.  With this understanding, BAC members are asked to serve as advocates for the Business Advisory Council, Perry Center, Inc. and the Perry School Community Services Center.
